I'm really thankful that I found your website with a lot of info on this company. They have called me 3 times with the exact same v-mail as someone else mentioned on this site. It sounded very suspicious & so I decided to research the company. I pay all my bills on time, have a good credit score in the upper 700's & have identity monitoring to prevent this exact kind of fraud. Nothing has changed on my credit monitoring & I plan to file a complaint with the FL state attorney general. Is there any where else I should report this to? Also should I respond to their calls or ignore them all together?
Thx for the good info on the site!! -Matt from FL

Hi Matt,

If you are sure that they are calling you illegally, then I would advise you not to answer their calls. They will disturb you for a few more days after which, probably, the calls will cease.

Along with your states' AG, you should also file complaints about them with the Florida Office of Financial Regulation.

It is remarkable to me that after years of having an account closed, The Takhar Terrorist Support Group asails our country with fraudulent debt collections. We as Americans need to put a stop to these types of people and their intense averace for collecting monies for bills that do not exist with out providing an itemized list or dates of expenditures or products for which payment is being demanded. It would be much like sending everyone here a bill for anything and demanding payment for it with out verification of what when and where something was purchased.

This is why it's important that you file complaints with the proper authorities.

Complaints DO work, maybe not instantaneously, but in the long run they work. The more complaints received by your state officials, the better the chances of this getting investigated. If I were you, I would just change my phone number.

I hear you all, and want to say I am one of the folks having problems with this group too. They are billing me for a book I have never received, saying that they have proof that it was delivered to me. As I'd belonged to a book service a while back, I thought maybe it was a book I'd received, but didn't remember for some reason. NOT SO. For one thing, I'd never buy a $60+ cookbook, and for another, the only cookbooks I've received are ones I paid for when I ordered them, or were part of a free offer. So, I've also complained to my WA State AG. AND I've blocked receipt of their calls on my cell--tho I don't know how they got that number.....anyway, thanks for being out there, and providing info on such as this. pm

I've been getting calls from these fools for a few months now. Not too frequently, once a week, then nothing for a few weeks, then once or twice a week, then nothing for a few weeks. I'm at the point where I'm going to start filing complaints. It's so silly. If it's a legit debt, mail me the bill, I'll verify it, and if it's real, I have no problem whatsoever paying it. If you instead call me with some douche saying, "We require a return call", yeah, that's never going to happen.

Thank you so much for this website! My husband is military and we are being bothered by the Takhar Group saying he owes 83.53 to a DVD club. Sent to an address where I was living but sent in the wrong year and he was in Korea. He said he didn't and now they wont send any proof. We have never got a bill. So I will be fighting this. Thanks!!
