I sent out my DV letters out and copies of Attorney General complaints and BBB to Arrowhead Investments. I received in the mail a letter stating that they sold my account to Icollect. and I must go through them to take care of it. They go on to say they "provided me with a copy original loan documents to show me they haven't violated Florida law." They say they advise I remove my complaint with BBB and attorney general and forward it to the collection agency. They go on to give me the contact # for Icollect who I have never heard from yet.

What do i do now/ They seem to think this validates my debt doos it? The information they gave me from my original loan seems to violate Florida law. Like interest rate allowed and rollover the loan.

They seem to be taking the stance that they sold the loan so now they have nothing to do with it.

Should I now contact Icollect? I already filed a BBB and Attorney General complaint on them as soon as I got this letter.

Please help on my next move. From what I see on this site Icollect will now get a third party to attempt to collect this debt.

I have already payed over $500 to arrowhead since July. $90 every 2 weeks. They have rolledover my loan many times which is illegal in FL. After reading Fl payday laws they have overcharged me on the original $300 loan.

Continued today--------------------

I just received a letter from National Credit Adjuster and they are on my credit report as collections. They bought the above loan and say I owe $480. I dv them by fax and mail and C&D the same. I filed with BBB and State Attorney Office. Arrowhead says they are not responsible now it is in a third party hands. Icollect never verified anything from my DV. In Arrowhead letter they said they sent it to Icollect now it's Nation Adjusters.

Hmmm, your debt has been rolled over a couple of times, how convenient for Arrowhead to sell your debts once they know that you are aware of Fl laws. Thank you for turning them into the BBB!! I've heard horrible things about this company. Now it looks like you have all the paperwork you need in your corner. Perhaps at this point, see what happens with your follow up to NCA. I'm sorry to hear that this is a nasty company to work with, Tweety! sounds like, you have done the right thing by sending out your dv letter to NCA. keep in touch, as others can learn from your experience.
