I don't remember my password

Anyway, I already asked questions on the 2 companies I have PDL's with..

MYCASHNOW
DISCOUNT ADVANCES

I closed my bank account after making 1 last payment today. The girl told me that if any more ACH debits come in that my account would be reopened. I of course had an inkling this would happen so when I closed my account I also stopped my direct deposit from going into any account and will get a hard check from now on. I was told if the account is closed , the ACH would reopen the account but no fee would be charged and no money paid out.

Even if they charged the fee I would no longer be even using the bank so good luck with that but how can you definitely make the bank not accept these ACH debits when your going to war with a company that you did in fact allow to ACH your account?

i would call 1-800-yes-2000 that is their main customer service number. they gave me that run around, too but there is a way they can close it without it reopening.
i told another poster here to call that number and she had good luck with it.. please keep asking, i lost $1000 last year thanks to this bank and their refusal to permanately close my account :( you can revoke your ACH anyway.. what state are you in? what companies are you dealing with?

bea2ls is correct. I was able to close my account and open another one. But I had to go through 3 people to get it done after the branch manager was useless. I called the 800 number and asked for the fraud dept. - they gave me to someone who was very, very helpful.

As of this writing, my ACHs for last week were stopped; I sent my pdls the letters and I revoked the ACHs with the bank. It cost me $30 for each one, but it was worth it.

You have to be assertive and take no for an answer. There's always a way to fix something; you just have to find it.

Good luck.
