These people are horrible! I sent the revocation letter back in Aug and told them that I still owed them 350 on the 500 loan I had and I wanted to schedule payments with them. I heard nothing from them until approx. 3 weeks ago. Then I got a call on my cell phone, work phone and home phone.

The reps are the most obnoxious people I have ever spoken to. The reps just talk over me and I just tell them until they can be respectful I won’t talk with them and hang up.

I have told them they aren’t licensed and the interest rates are beyond what legally allowed that I will pay what is legal in the State of MN and nothing more. They accuse me of wanting free money, I’ve explained that I have been more than willing to pay the principal I owe, but I will not pay the 850 they want on a 500 dollar loan.

Yesterday I sent them a cease and desist letter via fax and they have called 2x more! I answered the phone yesterday evening and told the rep that they have receipt of a cease and desist letter and that they are in violation of the FTC rules and hence subject to a fine, but she didn’t give a damn and kept on talking that I owed the money and how was I going to pay. I told her I wasn’t going to discuss this via the phone that the only method of communication I would deal with was US mail.

Any suggestions? I plan to file a complaint with the FTC, but whom else?

I can tell you from experience they wont' just go away. I sent at least 10 faxes & emails to each of their departments. Started with customer service, then to compliance dept and finally to recovery dept. They never responded to the faxes or emails. I changed all my phone numbers prior to default and they still called me on my cell so just because I changed them they still have the records. One thing they did do was to honor the ACH Revocation that I sent to the customer service dept. They never attempted to debit so I know they got it. It took about 2 weeks after default before they started to call me. They will literally drive you nuts trying to talk to them. They do the talking and you either just hang up and listen and maybe get a word in.
After 2 calls of them screaming at me telling me to borrow the money from someone, or that I scammed them, or I commited fraud by borrowing and not paying back, I finally gave in. I borrowed 300.00 paid 180 in fees before default. I was able to get them to take 210.00 which puts me out a total of 390.00 to get them to shut up and go away. I am paying them in 2 payments via a prepaid debit card. I hope I am finished with them. They admitted to me that they were not licensed in my state and they were tribal, which I already knew but in thier words that did not matter. They didn't care if I sent complaints to the BBB, FTC, or AG. They said do what I want to do on that. They didn't care that the FTC had filed suit against them in April. Thier words were simply this I signed the contract and agreed to their terms and took the money, I had to pay it back. I always planned to pay back the balance of the principal but I didn't plan on having to add another 90.00 to it. But, if they will go away it will be damn worth it.

Good luck with them because they will call you and call you. Hopefully, you can get them to take just the principal, but don't bet on it.:-o
