Confused About Payday Yes

I have been trying to research a few companies that I have loans with and am confused.

I reside in Tennessee. The companies I am seeking information on are Payday Yes and USA Payday Loan. In some posts, they say they are illegal because they are not licensed, but some posts state that they are legal and licensed. I know the situation can vary by which state you live in, but I need to make sure they are indeed either legal or illegal to lend in Tennessee before proceeding to deal with them.

I'm pretty sure Payday yes is illegal.. if you do a search of it on the BBB website you will see that it is not accredited and has many complaints. Also.. it has branches listed in Texas, TN and Delaware.. and I've been unable to find a license in any state for them. I've searched the Delaware license data base and have been unable to find it. Try searching Payday yes in the upper right corner of this page and see the results you get about this company.

I'm not possitive, but I think PaydayLoanYes is the one that is illegal, but PaydayYes is or was licensed in Delaware. Can't be sure, but based on some of the older posts in this forum that's what I came up with. That would still place them on the illegal list for the states who require a license in their own state. Like I said though, I'm not possitive about that.
