Payday lending is legal in Texas. You can contact with the Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner to know whether or not payday loan companies from where you have taken the loans are licensed to operate in your state. If they are licensed, then you will have to pay the principal amount with interests and other charges. Otherwise, you will be liable to pay only the principal amount. If you are not able to repay the debts in full, then you can contact with your lenders and negotiate with them. You can try to consolidate these debts on your own. If it is not possible for you to negotiate yourself, then you may get help from a reliable debt consolidation company.

Hi,
You will certainly be turned down on an offer to pay $50 to a company that actually owes $941.56 but it is possible to reduce the amount to some extent.
You can contact a debt settlement company and tell them about your financial hardship. If the consultant agrees to tell the lender about it, you can easily start making small installments. Though you won't be able to reduce the amount to a level of $50, you can surely lessen the amount.
