Payday loan
Date: Wed, 04/13/2011 - 22:13
I was called by the collection agency of payday loans telling me they were going to come to my house and arrest me in front of all my neighbors. They were going to call and notify my employer about my situation. That I was totally irresponsible and a low life. They told there names were Joe and Jack Shawn. It sounded like a boiler room. I am scared they are going to try and take my house from me. I live in the state of texas. I can't afford any company to put a lien against my house. They were going to garnish my wages from Social Security and my employer.
I live on next to nothing. I barely make $10,000 a year. What can they do to me and how can I get myself out of this situation.
HELP!!!!!:(:?

You should check out whether or not the payday lender was licens
You should check out whether or not the payday lender was licensed to operate in your state. If it was not licensed to operate in your state, then neither they nor their collection agency can file any lawsuit against you or garnish your wages. However, you'll have to pay off the principal balance to the payday lender.
