Can someone help me find out if it is a legal loan? I have recently ran into problems and while intend on continuing to pay off what I borrowed the loan is more than I can bear financially right now. I am trying to get everything together. Thank you to the community for the help. This is an awesome resource!

What state are you in?

They are not legal. You just need to pay the principal amount. They are tribal lenders. Read this line carefully:

"Inbox Loan is a Native American owned business operated by Kashia Band of Pomo Indians of the Stewarts Point Rancheria, a sovereign nation located in the United States."

Thank you so much for your help. I am sorry I thought I posted, I am in Texas. I fully intend to pay the principal back, but the loan went from 1k to 10k with the payback. That is insane!

Hey Jimmie,
You don't have to worry, send them a mail that you are willing to pay only the principal amount, nothing less, nothing more.
They are illegal in Texas, so if you do not pay them the interest, they can't take any legal action against you.
Be cool, okay :)

So are no tribal loans legal in Texas? I have one more with Green Pine lending:
t is the express intention of the Sokaogon Chippewa Community (Mole Lake Band of Superior
Chippewa Indians) and us operating as an economic arm of the Sokaogon Chippewa Community (Mole Lake Band of Superior Chippewa Indians), to
fully preserve, and not waive either in whole or in part, exclusive jurisdiction, sovereign governmental immunity, and any other rights, titles, privileges,
and immunities, to which we and the Sokaogon Chippewa Community (Mole Lake Band of Superior Chippewa Indians) are entitled. To protect and
preserve the rights of the parties, no person may assume a waiver of sovereign immunity. No waiver is or can be made except by express written
declaration of the Sokaogon Chippewa Community (Mole Lake Band of Superior Chippewa Indians)'s governing Board of Directors specifically
authorizing a waiver for the matter in question. No such waiver has been made with respect to either this Agreement, your Payment Choice or any
other related document
