Payday Loan hell - help!

I have been reading a lot online to see what my options are and I need help. I am trying to decide if I should go with one of the payday loan consolidation companies or try to work it out myself. I have already put a freeze on my account so that I could get my direct deposit but they can't pull any money out of my account.

I have the following loans:

CashNetUsa - $1100
Zip19 - $300
Loan Point USA - $400
My Cash Center - $400
500FastCash - $400
Little Loan Shop - $300
Instant Cash Credits - $300
Cash Adv Network - $300
DJR Group - $300
Discount Advances - $500 - but I have paid this one down to like $200 I think
Ameriloan - $300 - but it is paid down to $120

I have paid several of these down, but for the most part have only been paying the fees and nothing toward the principal. I don't know what to do.

Do any of the payday loan consolidation companies actually work or are they scams too?

If I handle this on my own where do I even start?

Any advice is appreciated.

I can't believe I let myself get into this mess!!

Are any of these storefront, or are they all online?
How much have you paid back on each of these?
Are any of them already in default?

This kind of information will enable the helperfolk to give you more specific advice...

General advice you can start with: Read the sticky'd thread about how to handle illegal lenders (because I can see several on your list that are), and go ahead and start assembling mailing addresses and emails for each of these companies, b/c you're going to need them.

And lastly? Take a breath, and remind yourself that there IS a way out of this. I'm in a payday loan hell, too... But I found this site and its wonderful resources only 72 hours ago, and as a result I have a plan, and it has teeth, and I feel more empowered and optimistic than I have in over a year. You CAN recover from this.

Can anyone tell me i recive a call from a anynomous phone number tell me that they have papers that i have to signed they yestersday i have a call from a pay phone tell me me that they looking for me to give some paper that the envelope is seal the gave me a case number with a phone number i call is a agency tell me that i being sue from a payday loan since dec 2008 i dont recall its long time ago he told me it was from quickcash. Can anyone tell me does the people that brings the court papers papers block their number? How can i find out if im beein sue? Or how can i find out who i owe money .paydayloans... Thank you

Call your county court house and ask if there is a case against you. Usually, when you are being sued you would receive a summons, quikcash is known for pulling this scam on people, my best guess is they are just trying to scare you.
