Texas Payday Loan

I need some help with two payday loans in Texas. VC Funding and Cash Now. i need to find out if they are licensed in Texas. I received a call from someone in an attorneys office trying to collect on these two. She is telling me i have to pay $1357 today or she is going to make my employer pay it. I asked her to send a debt validation letter which she told me she would fax but i still haven't received it. At one time i had about 6 payday loans out back in 2006, and i thought i had settled all my debts with all of them and suddenly 4 years later this woman calls out of the blue.
