can someone give me some info on think cash. I borrowed some mone from them last year. I stop the payments after about 6 months and I have not heard from them since. Are they legit?

She is right Think Cash is an "installment loan" backed by a bank. They are LEGAL and charge like 96% interest I believe. If I was you I would contact them. From what I have seen here on this forum, the silence is normal before they file judgment or send your account to 3rd party collector. You can search them in the box uptop. Best of luck!!

I contacted ThinkCash Today! I owe $1331.14. They explained to me that they do not call because I know I owed the debt and that this is an internet loan. The account is in a charge-off status. They also explained that they do not take mail payments. Please help and advise me my next step in this process. I cannot make a settlement arrangement with them yet. Can I send them money orders or what?

I acknowledge the fact that I do owe them. How can I protect myself from being garnished. If it is going through a charge-off can they garnish me for the $1300? Do I have any options like paying $25 a month?

Dear Helpmeplease,

Have you already been sued for wage garnishment?

If no then you should try to avoid it by negotiating with the creditor and pay them off. You can also take help of a debt management company which will help you to make lower monthly payment.

For more information on lowering your debt and avoid garnishment, please go through the following article page: -

Can consolidation help prevent wage garnishment?.

Hi,

I am giving certain information on Garnishment related to Michigan. Read on???????..

When a creditor fails to obtain debt from a debtor then he may file lawsuit against the debtor for recovering the debt. If lender gets judgment against the debtor then it becomes easy for him to recover the debt.

In case payment is not done after garnishment then lender can use power of court to extract money from the debtor either through wage garnishment or other coercive means. Garnishment is usually done through wages and bank accounts. In this process the first requirement is to obtain a writ on garnishment. Its purpose is to preserve money or property which is held by a Garnishee or third-party so that judgment can be satisfied. In most of such cases, the debtor????????s employer or the bank becomes the garnishee.

But debtor still remains a part of the garnishment process and thus enjoys the right to object the garnishment. He/she can object to the garnishment in the following circumstances: -

Hope, this information will help you in formulating your future moves.

Thanks and Bye. :)
