Can anyone answer this question for me?

This is an awesome website - thank you for your help.

One more question. If internet loans are illegal in my state and I have existing loans, legally am I required to repay the principle. I'm speaking from only a legal perspective and not a morale perspective here.

Thanks!

I understand that the principle should be repaid. However, this isn't something that I can start working on immediately due to the number of outstanding PDL's that I have. First I need to catch up on my mortgage and car payment, then the legal installment agreement. I'm looking at 45 to 60 days out before I can even start the process and with the number of them that I have it will be slow going. I was uncertain if these illegal lenders became impatient with me if they could pursue me through civil means since they are illegal?

Also Think Cash apparently owns Payday One? But Payday One is a PDL company - does this sound right?

You didn't answer my questions are paying back these illegal lenders over a period of time - see above, could you please answer this too?
I have 1 loan with Think Cash (it's installment) and 1 with Payday One.

I have researched this in the past for a former member. Here is what I dug up.

You have not listed any Illegal lenders. I am unsure of which PDLs you are referring too. the ones you have listed are both Legal.

Illegal lenders however, cannot pursue any legal action being they are not licensed. What they will do is threaten to sue you anyways and garnish your wages..blah..blah! All hogwash!
