I have a payday loan, that was not paid due to a bank problem and the bank rejected payment. I was getting third party charges, in various amounts and not just payment debits, so my bank stopped this one by mistake, not knowing it was a loan payment. Now I am being severly threatened, and cannot get a copy of the loan contract, nor can I get a business name or contact. they want payment in full this morning or sending me to jail and incurruing charges of over 8 thousand dollars on a two hundred dollar loan, what can i do?

First of all, you cannot go to jail for unpaid payday loan. If you could then over half of us on this forum would be in jail. What State do you live in and who is the payday lender? If the lender is not licensed to do business in your State, then you are only morally obligated to pay back the principal balance (No fees or interest). Please provide this information and someone on this Forum will be able to help you.
