hi everybody! first i want to say that since i found debt consolidation care forum i have felt like a big load was lifted from my shoulders thank you very much for that. it has enabled me to start the process of getting my pdl debt under my control and not thiers. what i would like to know is if you stop the ach payments and make (try to)arrangements with the legal lenders will it affect my credit score? like if my payments are late or if they dont want to work with me etc. by the way i live in texas and have 2 illegal pdls and 2 legal pdls. thank you so much for all your help and knowledge. have a great day.

I don't believe pdl have anything to do with your credit report or score being that most of them are illegal anyway. I feel the way you do since I have found this site and have been getting information from everyone that has been in my shoes I have gained a sense of empowerment. I was able to have a paycheck to pay bills and do what I needed to do and even had a little to treat myself to getting my nails done!!! These people here are phenominal in every aspect.

The legal lenders will report to the credit bureaus so you need

The legal lenders will report to the credit bureaus so you need to work out something with them. If you've closed your checking account, you can tell them it was due to fraud and use an alternate means of paying them, like a money order. Since they are legal, hopefully they will work with you.
