Payday loan in Texas

I got a payday loan in 2009 I paid on it up until I lost my job. I asked them to work with me on payment arragements. they never did. I have been unemployed for over a year now and a single mother of 2. The company they hired to collect has called me yesterday 4-18-2011 and said that between the hours of 12-5 they are going to serve me papers at my work or at home. I called them back and asked again to work out a payment arragement, they came back and said no. What can I do? The company I got the loan from was EZ Money.:confused:

Your need to check out whether or not the payday lender has the license to operate in your state. If not, then they cannot take any legal actions against you. They are just trying to scare you into paying with such tactics.
