So I finally got a response from the BBB regarding Detex Agency & Associates. They explained t othe BBB that they are not proceeding and have turned the account back over to mypaydayloan.com. I guess the illegal finally came out and they don't want any problems!

It's good to note that you took the initiative and complained to the BBB. If it's an illegal payday lender in your state, then you're only liable for paying the principal balance. If you've paid off more than the principal balance, then you should ask for a refund from the payday lender.
