Multiple loans, same company

So what is the deal with having had 2 or 3 loans with the same company.
For example, one lender has had me in the trap and I took out and fully paid 1 or 2 loans before having my last loan, which I stopped paying.
My approach has been to add up ALL deposits from this lender minus ALL payments, regardless of which loan they were against. The the difference between the two is what I owe or what I have overpaid.
Has anyone had experience with this?
Thanks,
Jason

I had this with a couple of my lenders and used this strategy.

It worked for both. I received PIFs from both and a refund from one.
