can you tell me if 500fastcash and djr group and cash call are licensed in il and will they work on a settlement i thought about goin through a payday loan consolidation company but thought maybe i could do it myself im at wits end and dont have all the money to pay every 2wks


500 Fast Cash is not licensed anywhere that I can find. I live in Florida and I sent them the illegal lender letter and they marked my account PIF just like that.

Lending of pdl is considered legal in the state of Illinois. You can get information from the Illinois Division of Financial Institutions in order to know whether or not pdl companies are licensed to operate in your state. You will have to pay both the principal and interest, if the lenders are licensed in your state. Otherwise, you are required to pay only the principal amount. If it seems difficult for you to payback the debts in full, then you can negotiate with your lenders. You may try to consolidate the debts with them on your own. Otherwise, you may get help from a reputable debt consolidation company.

none of these are legal in IL.meaning not only do you owe only the principle,but anything debited gets deducted from that.now go to the sticky titled DEALING WITH ILLEGAL LENDERS at the top of the payday loan help forum.it has all you need from template letters to every step to get these paid on your terms(that is if you owe them at all).the first step is closing/securing your account.do that,go to to the sticky and you can do this yourself.keep us posted.
