I Received telephone calls from this company
three times on my home phone within 10 minutes and once through my personnel department yesterday. Im 98% sure this is a scam. they claim I took out a payday loan in October with a company called CMA. Of course I didn't. the usual stuff about check fraud, contract violations, being served papers etc.
when I asked them to send me proof of debt, they said I should already have this information.
When I pressed the person for more information about the supposed suit she got very angry and threatened to hang up on me. LOL. Told her that I would be more than happy to meet them in court and to forward the papers to the address on file. She said fine make sure I bring two forms of ID to the courthouse. Of course I don't know which courthouse . Have jury duty next week so maybe I should have told them to meet me there. I've had the fine fellows from India before but this one actually had an american accent. Just thought I'd ask if anyone else had dealt with them.

anyplace whether in india,or the us most likely new york,or florida that throws out the criminal threat(and fraud is a crime)is a scam.use any info like a phone number to report them.then ignore them as again criminal action is prohibited in every state,and fraud is a crime.also online lenders don't use checks,and ach's are not checks.report and ignore.
