Payday Loan Collections

When payday loans go to collections can you still fight them if they are illegal in your state? I'm in Illinois and trying to sort thru a handful of old payday loans... In the last two days I received multiple calls from a company called CTS or aka United Litigation on behalf of Bayside Cash. They even went as far as calling my work and speaking to a manager here who has nothing to do with me. I tried to get them to send me validation and/or give me their address info but all I got was "good luck in court" and then hung up on me.
The other companies that I know of that I'm trying to deal with off the top of my head are:
Cash In A Wink
Delbert Services (Cash Call I believe)
I've recently requested my old bank statements from the account I was using so I can find out exactly how much I've already paid to these companies.
I just want all of this go away and I will do whatever I have to do including paying what I actually do owe!

Let them take you to court and watch with an evil grin on your face as the judge throws the case out the window when you use the "the loan is illegal in the state of Illinois because its tribal\unlicensed\offshore and therefore the contract stands to be null and void" defense.
Barking dogs seldom bite and you have nothing to worry about. They are just trying to scare you.
As for your other lenders, I believe both of them are illegal in IL. Just check with the state finance department and they can tell you.
