I have several PDL's in Texas...can you help me know who is legal and who is not...all were done over internet...

Bottom Dollar Payday
Dollar Premier
Its My Pay Day - Lender National Opportunities Unlimited
Cash Net USA
Easy Cash Online Store - dep from Lansbridge

The other thing I forgot to ask is reading the laws of Texas I am not clear on a few things...

Debt Limits:
Max # of outstanding loans permitted at a time - Not specified (Aggregate outstanding loans of $00 to all licensees)...what does this mean.

Permissable # of Rollovers - none (if charge of renewal is less than the permissible rate of interest; otherwise can be converted to declining balance installment note)...what does this mean.

Not to sound stupid, just want to understand all this language.

Also is a Credit Access Business the same as a CSO?

Been doing some research, thanks to the information found on this site, and have found the following:

CashNetUSA is a dba under CNU of Texas, LLC - per the Office of the Consumer Credit Commissioner. Because they are a "CAB" credit access business they must be licensed under Office of the CCC & registered with the Sec of State. Searching SOS I find the CNU of Texas,LLC fka Cash America Net of TX, LLC but no listing for CNU of Texas, LLC fka CashNetUSA...do they have to register all fka's?

I cannot find anything out on my other entities. When I search the Sec of State website and the Office of the Consumer Credit Commissioner I cannot find any of them.

I would like to assume the rest are illegal just concerned they are listed as a dba under some obscure name and I just cant locate them.

If I don't get an answer soon confirming the rest are illegal, going to move forward with the ACH and Wage Garnishment revocation letters. Then I will be meeting with my personal banker to get everything lined up in their system - hopefully my bank is better than BOA.

Want to say thank you to everyone on this site. I live in Texas and after research I cancelled all my illegal payday loans.

I sent NOU, Inc., (it's my payday) notice of ACH & Wage Assignment revocation and with a notice that I am owed a refund of $xxx.xx. After several emails back and forth, I finally rec'd a email acknowleding my notice and today I recieved my refund. I am in total shock.

Thanks again and everyone know that there is hope if you are caught in the vicious cycle. Be persistent and stick to your guns.

:D
