Hello, i have a few payday loans that i have been paying on for some time. Every two weeks my account is debited the finance fees as i have been unable to payoff full amount because they all hit my account on same day. What are my best options to resolve this issue. I know that i have paid more in fees than original loan was worth. Please help with any advice.

I assume you live in North Carolina. Payday loans are illegal in the state of NC. You are only morally obligated to pay back the principal amount borrowed, no interest or fees. On this site, click on Forums, then click on payday loan help, then click on sticky on how to deal with unlicensed lenders. Follow every step. Depending on the original amount borrowed and what you have paid back so far, you may be entitled to a refund.

Thank you. I have paid to date the amount of the original loans in refinancing fees which incur every two weeks. The loans were small, less than 500 but they rollover every two weeks so the 150 payment goes towards the refinance fee for the original amount.

Moral obligation - A duty which one owes, and which he ought to perform, but which he is not legally bound to fulfil.A tribal or offshore lender doesn't have the latitude to do anything here. They have committed usury and attempts to collect on the illegal debt will be met with legal consequences. In the case of tribal lending they stand to lose their soverignty if they aren't careful.
