thanks for the information. i had recently ask at checksmart and they told me no they didnt offer anything, so of course i paid them in full and had to immediately reborrow to feed my kids that week. i will try again. will they only help if your items have been returned by the bank or do you have to ask prior to them being due?

First of all, this is a civil matter and you not be jailed. Regarding garnishments, that is usually a last resort as the have to go thru the courts, at least in Ohio. Be sure to save emails and documnetation and may want to log the phone calls. Some companies "forget" they offered me EPP but I had the email to prove. If they tell you anything over the phone have them send you an email or mail.
