Thought it might be nice to see States that are fighting for us. the part that stood out for me the most (even though I am in cali and not WV) is "it is not a crime to be poor". we here need to remind ourselves of this. and I am hoping our state will follow some of these others in fighting these true criminals. http://www.timeswv.com/business/local_story_326044952.html

I agree, in my state the attorney general says to go through the BBB. For illegal loans! I wish more would be helpful.

soaplady, i know the BBB will not do anything. the fact that the attorney general even recommended them (a year after i filed complaints, too) is insulting. mine are over and done with but as far as i know the NJ attorney general never helped anyone with illegal loans.

I have been slowly sending letters to any media I can think of..

I have been slowly sending letters to any media I can think of... I hope someone finds this interesting and willing to take it on. I agree media can be a big help we need to just get the right one to pick it up.
