ACH Revocation question

If so, what is the full process ? What are the telephone numbers to call to make the revocation ?
In my case, 2 of the pdl have used different names on some of the debits. Does this make a difference?

several intenet pdl's have more than one D/B/A(doing business as)that way they can debit anyway they can.if you have an address that should be fine.send it there.it will have the same result.as bea stated do make sure your account is really closed beforehand.

I did include the ACH revocation statement in the letter that I sent. Yes, my account is totally closed, to the extent that I had to get copies of my statements from the bank to calculate my payments because it is closed and I could not download the on-line statements.
I guess I was not clear, do I need to to contact the ACH firms to ensure that no debits can be made from the new account. Thanks for your response.

nope,just make sure with your bank manager that nothing will be debited from the new account.another point.i know you said it was totally closed,but sometimes old accounts can re-open when debits are attempted.check again to make sure.it's a pain,but better to be sure than be suprised.as long as the pdl's don't have your new account info you are good no need to speak to them again.just get the letter out.that way you are covered.

yea, that actually happened to me, the ACH pushed an account back open. I lost a lot of money.. i would not mention a new account to them at all, they cannot be trusted. you should be safe but I just still would not do it (i always told them i no longer had a bank account and that is why i can only send money orders).

Thanks Paul. I am a bit shaky on the confidence part, but moving on. I can't get some letters to them via physical or email so I am moving on to faxing. Also, I am doing my complaints to the AG and Division of Banking today.
