CashAdvanceNetwork - $1,100 paid $275
PayDayOne - $700 - paid nothing but have paid them over $1,400 in the last year on other loans.
I have contacted my bank and they are working with me to stop the charges from coming through and put a hold on my account. I might end up closing the account and opening another with the same bank(credit union). They are being very understanding of the situation. I first tried to get a loan but was unable to of course... I have been playing this payday loan game for about 2 years and have finally just had enough!
So... My bank reversed the charges and now I am trying to settle the debts.
Neither company is being very helpful yet. I have sent off the do not call my work letters and the wage garnishment letters to both. Phew.... Let's hope they stop calling my employment.
I have tried to set up plans with both. PaydayOne to pay $100 every two weeks until the $700 is paid off and CashAdvanceNetwork $100 every two weeks until $825 is paid off. Both companies have rejected it and want it paid in 2 months.
I just can't do that right now.
Any suggestions? I am really trying and trying not to back out on paying them back.
Any help would be great.
Thank You

Payday One is a legal lender in your state. I would definitely send them a letter explaining your situation. This way you will have a record of the conversations should they decide to sue you. CashAdvanceNerwork is HELL to deal with, they aren't a legal lender ANYwhere in the U.S. which is good news for you because Wisconsin payday loans laws are very lax in your state, an Internet lender is legal in your state as long as they are licensed SOMEwhere in the U.S., and you would need to follow the payday loan laws in the state the lender is licensed in, so, it's good they aren't licensed anywhere. I would close my account if I were you asap, because these illegal lenders have a habit of changing their names and debiting larger and larger amounts. As far as PayDayOne I would just send in what you can, when you can, even if they don't accept your plan. At least the amount owed is being payed down. I have a loan still outstanding with them and have tried numerous times over the past 8 months to make arrangements with them but they will not ever accept what I offer to pay. I send in a little when I can. So far they have never sent me anything in snail mail or email (except in reponse to my email to them). They do continue to call me 2-3 times a week but most of the time the phone only rings one time and they have never left a voice message for me.
There are also other people who have posted here that say they are doing the same thing with PayDayOne as far as just sending in what you can because they will not offer a reasonable payback plan. Hope this helps.

Good post!!!
Thanks! I will do that with Payday One. I was a little shocked
Thanks! I will do that with Payday One. I was a little shocked with them because I really thought of all of them they would be the ones that would work with me the most.
I will pay them back what I can and then with the other one... I am only going to pay back $825. I borrowed $1,110 and paid $275 in interest already. I am going to do the same thing for them. Just pay what I can when I can and document everything.
I am so thankful for this board.

I don't know how you intend to pay the illegal lender but I wouldn't give them ANYmore of your account information ever again. Tell them you will make payments via the mail with money orders only and that you will need a valid physical address to send payments. Also make it known that if they won't supply you with an address then there will be NO payments, but if they would like to sue you in a court of law then they are welcome to do so (they never will because they are illegal and a judge would prosecute them). I do hope you have your old account closed and have opened a new one. Your old account will never be safe again as longer a this illegal lender (or any other for that matter) has your accont info.
