OK, I have too gotten into the horrible payday loan mess. Numerous causes, but no excuses simply foolish on my part. I have 3 internet payday loans which I know are illegal in AZ so I have written them cease and decist letters already and threatened to report them to the AAG's Office. My bigger concern is the 6 loans I currently have with store front lenders. I can no longer keep up with the interest payments and the payment plans are too expensive as they are more than the interest. Can I negotiate a monthly payment of $50 -100 dollars to each of them until they are paid off? Or should I go through a credit counseling agency to seek help????

Since all three internet payday loans are illegal in the state of Arizona, there is point to pay full amount. Only pay the outstanding principal amount without interest.
In other way, you can negotiate with the lenders for the monthly payment till the time the whole amount paid off or you can contact with the credit counseling agency for the debt management lowering the monthly payment without hurting your credit.
