I need to find out if anyone has ever had their HR dept contacted by Zip19 and had the wage assignment paid out of their paycheck? I am in Louisiana.

In my opinion, Zip19 is one of the worst to work with. If Zip19 has threatened to contact your HR department, you need to send them a letter as soon as possible by taking back any document of wage assignment that you may have signed with them.

According to law, When you sign a wage assignment form, your creditor will have the right to a portion of your wages if you are delinquent by at least 40 days. In certain cases, it can be extended to 60 or 90 days. If you do, they will provide that form to your employer and he will be required to take that money from your paycheck.
