So last year (2009) I sent email after email to oneclickcash stating that the loan was PIF secondary to them being illegal and no response and now out of nowhere I start receiving calls that it is imperative that I log into recovery dot oneclickcash dot com to "resolve" this issue. Truly the only issue is WHERE IS MY REFUND?

Guess it's back to letter writing time.

So glad I stumbled across this - I will be keeping an eye on your progress. I too received a recorded message telling me to go to the website to make arrangements. However, the site does not let you actually "communicate" with these people, just the option of telling them how you will pay them back and how much. I am just amazed at these companies. OneClickCash and USFastCash both locked me out of my accounts the same day I sent my letters. I have paid off the loans of those that I legitimally owed money to - they were very nice and accomodating in that regard. The remaining companies owe me back money so we can play email tag all day - they will not get another dime out of me :)

Good luck, and please post your progress so I can have ideas as to how to move forward with these two - I think they're going to be difficult, like Paycheck Today...

I am dealing with OCC and UCL (same company) and I was getting the emails, and phone calls to. I am not sure what is going on with them. But I keep sending out my complaints and letters to them hoping they will go away. I have a feeling they wont be easy to get rid of but every pay check that I dont have to give to them is success.

The worst part is that OCC and Ameriloan are part of the same company I guess... and they call back to back to back of each other. I no sooner ignore the first one when the next one calls. I emailed them both yesterday with a cease and desist and explained that they were illegal in WA state and that considering I have already paid back the principle plus that these were PIF! I will keep everyone posted.

I do have to admit that it cracks me up some considering I sent all these same emails and such last year do they think I have changed my mind about this now? I mean if anything the laws in WA are stricter now then ever and they think NOW I am going to back to their tactics? Weird Group

I completely agree that not having to hand over your paycheck is a success story; UCL reminds me of those horror movies where you think the monsters' been killed and you wont' hear from them again, then all of a sudden, they start calling!

Now that we're getting into tax time, I'm willing to bet that a lot of people who thought they'd heard the last of their PDL's will be getting calls stating that the PDL will "make it very easy for you to use your tax refund to pay what you owe!"

Paulmergel, maybe there could be a horror movie made, "It came from the Internet!!" "Lurking somewhere on the Miami Indian Nation is a monster SO insidious, SO horrific, you will never forget it once you've dealt with - THE PAYDAY LOAN!!!!" (cue in scary music)
