in the state of texas can a payday loan collection agency get you fired, take your property garnish your wages and have you put in jail for as they call it check fraud this is in texas. this loan is over a year old. i have tried to make arrangements but they want all of the money up front.. i owe 800.00

No, they can't put you in jail, take your property, or get you fired. As far as the wages, I beleive TX is a non garnishment state.
