The last time I talked to someone before today was about 6 weeks ago. He made the comment that the statues where almost up and they needed to set payment arrangements. I asked them to send me something by USPS in reference to the loan he said they already had. Well I didn't get it. So he refused to send anything else and told me that he was noting that I was refusing to pay. I told him that I wasn't refusing I just needed more information. Then today they call again.
My problem I have is that they will not send me anything as far as how much I have paid and what I owe. When I orginally did this internet loan I lived in Florida. Now I live in Indiana. I am sure that PDL is illegal. I am basically trying to find out the principal I actually owe. I believe the loan was for $300. I am sure I had made payments but that was almost 4 years ago so I don't remember.
With all the time they have wasted trying to call me they could have sent me the info I have requested and maybe have come to some agreement as far as payment.
Next time when they call tell them that you're planning to send
Next time when they call tell them that you're planning to send a DV and expecting to receive the dunning letter of collection within five business days. Also you must ask them for their physical address to send your DV. If they disagree to send the letter, you can ask them to go wandering.
You'll probably never receive any documentation from them either
You'll probably never receive any documentation from them either, instead you will receive threatening phone calls. Send an email to 'dollarquick' revoking thier right to any wage assignments you may or may not have signed, that will take care of any possible wage attachments, also show a copy to your employer. Unless you receive a letter of collection via the mail the most they can do is call and threaten you. I wouldn't bother talking to them on the phone anymore, it just encourages them to continue calling.
