OK so a few weeks ago I posted that I was having issues with 5 payday loan companies, all of which were illegal. These companies were:

One Click Cash
Ameriloan
Magnum
Instant Cash USA
Zip19

Most I have paid on interest only, but it's more than the principle. Anyways, I put a balance hold on my bank account so they can't get more money and then sent out cease and desist letters through email. To date, none of them have responded! In the letter, it says that I give them 5 days to respond. Obviously, they haven't done this, and I have resent the letters twice already to each party. I have also noticed that all of the payday lender have "closed" my login access to their accounts. Do I assume that they are trying to tell me that I'm paid in full? Do I send a different type of letter demanding PIF forms for my records? Not sure how to handle this...

send a letter in your own words stating that their loan was illegal, and you have paid them back, and want the loan marked PIF.alot of illegals block people from their website when the person gets wise and stops their access to their account.i would also file AG complaints against every lender as well.just know that one click, and ameriloan are MTE,and will be contacting you on their terms.that means they will be calling you.have the AG complaints filed or ready to file as all of your pdl's have a habit of calling and harrassing people.be proactive not reactive in this case.another note.you don't send cease and desist letters with requests for responses.kinda defeats the puropse of a c&d.

You may not hear from them right away. Sometimes they wait a little while to try to scare you. Its best for you to always be prepared for that email, call, or letter. Keep documentation of everything and file those complaints and dont stop. keep filing. If these are illegal and you have paid them back the principal then you owe nothing else. These illegal pdls will pick their battles. If they find out you dont know your rights they will harrass you till you pay. Stay strong and GOOD LUCK
