hello! i have been recieving phone calls from the BAM group saying i was going to be served w/ court papers if i did not pay them. they said it was for a payday loan i took out in August of 2008 and i did pay a portion of it but then i moved about 2 hours away and forgot about it. i was told a few months ago ina random conversation that in Oklahoma it is against the law to write a post dated check so they are taking a risk by doing that and that if they ever take anything to court the judge usually doesn't side with them because of this law. is this true???
it was at a Check-N-Go location which i think is considered a storefront. the amount was for $250 and they are demanding i pay $219.00. i do not know what i should do b/c i am not familiar with all teh laws and i do not feel i say the correct thing when they call. i honestly do not have the money right at this time but i do intend on paying it. should i pay these people or try to pay check-n-go??? what are my right???
i appreciate any help i can get.

do a search in the bar top right.the BAM GROUP is a group of idiots that bought the debt from check-n-go.this place has no license period in any state, and relies on illegal threats to get money from people.if it was a storefront then contact them.find out if they sold the debt before agreeing to anything.i'm betting check-n-go sold the debt.everyone involved with the BAM,OR BAN GROUP is gonna roast one fine day.file a police report for the threat.then use the number that comes up on caller id to file AG,and FTC complaints.then do not talk to these losers again.nothing bad will happen if you ignore them.
