It's unethical. Why do you ask?

well, my son had a liver transplant and i was on fmla and i just got really behind and before i knew it i was consumed in payday loans and had no way to pay them back. I sent some of the payday loan places the form letter that i got from this website and one called me back and said they were turning me into the fraud department because it looks like i took multiple loans and i intended on not paying them back. I just want to know if thats true or if they are just trying to scare me, that was nor my intent in the beginning. I thought i would be able to pay them back and i was just trying to survive.

If you let us know what state you live in, which companies you borrowed from, how much you borrowed from each and how much you paid (not what they say you paid toward the principal, but how much you actually paid)...we can help you out.Your loans may have been illegal to start with. You also might be able to get a refund.

Oh, and it's likely they're trying to scare you. You can't be arrested for debt; it's a civil matter, not a criminal one.
