Often it happens, as the consolidation company isn't always aware of the pdl laws of the state and don't know which of your lenders are operating legally in the state, you may end up paying thousands to unlicensed lenders.
If you share the following information with the community, we may try to help you in dealing with your payday lenders. Please mention- your state, lenders, type of lenders (storefront/internet), amount borrowed and amount repaid in your next post.

I would definitely find out if your lenders are licensed FIRST, don't hire a debt consolidation company to do what you can do yourself, FREE, there are other options, we need more info fist though:
-Names of each pdl company.
-Whether they are store front or Internet.
-How much you borrowed.
-How much you paid so far.
-The state in which you reside.
