Pay Day Loan Collection Help
Date: Fri, 06/11/2010 - 09:50
For over a year now Profile Recovery Group has been using totally illegal collection practices to get me to pay on a pay day loan debt that my deceased sister had taken out in October 2006. They refuse to talk to my attorney, and they call everyone in the book to get a hold of me. I was listed as a reference and they are telling me it is my responsibility to pay the debt. But last night they called another reference and told her that because my sister did not pay she and I would have to pay. They called my employer and left a voice mail message throwing out all sorts of legal terms stating that a civil complaint had been filed against me. I know they really have not filed a civil complaint and I know that I am not responsible for the debt. Short of taking them to court, which I don't have the time or the money since they are based out of Canada, can you suggest any other way to get them to stop bothering all of us?

on top of that tell everyone they called that they are scammers, and should be hung up on,or laughed at.hanging up is best, but if they persist laughter is the best medicine.
