How to get them to stop

I don't know how to get them to stop calling me at work or cell phone. Is there a letter to advise them to cease from the harrasment. I don't know what I am going to do to get caught up but wish they would quit calling. Thank you.

If it's a collection agency then you can send them a cease and desist letter. You can also ask the collection agency to transfer the account back to the original creditor if the collection agency hasn't purchased the account. There are two versions of cease and desist letters on this site under DIY-Sample letters
