He was saying that i had a loan out back in 2009 and that my bank sent them something re: Nsf fees and that it was a felony and it is a criminal action that is going to be taken against me and it will effect my drivers lic and etc. He went on saying that they had sent me numerous letters/emails and he goes on stating that i have rec info like this from my bank. I told him how you going to tell me what i have rec from my bank, futhermore, i havent rec anything from them. He stated that today at 9 am they were going to release the information to my county/state and i will be resp for court cost and ect. If i dont settle this. I did ask him to send my a letter re: This information. What do i do? |
first you file a police report for the empty threat.then use the number that comes up on caller id to file AG,and FTC complaints.then do not speak to the idiot again.he can't and won't have you arrested.debts are civil matters.this thing can't do anything he threatens.file the report and complaints.then ignore him.

Please don't feed the fire by talking to these people, just hang up, the more you argue with them, the more they will call. It's their game, it's how they get any thrills in life, so please, do not speak to them, do as Paul said and file complaints.

These psychos called my house earlier today threatening me with legal action as well as telling me that they were going to contact my job and also the county I reside in to go ahead and set up for garnishment of wages. After it was all said and done, they had the nerve to put me onto a so called paralegal who identified himself as an auditor and wanted to record this call. This man said that failure to pay will result in criminal action. They think they got me but they did not.
