How do I get rid of payday loans?

Little Loan Shop: Loan for 500 Paid 1050 so far
Mycashnow: Loan for 500 Paid 575.90 so far
Redstone: Loan for 400 Paid 280.00 so far
Eastside Lenders: Loan for 500
Extracash: Loan for 500
Unitedlending: Loan for 400
It's my understanding that I am only legally responsible for the principal amount of the loan. Is that correct? If so, what steps do I need to take to stop these places from debiting my account anymore? I am going to open a new account and have my direct deposit switched to avoid paying more than I need to.
Any advice or instructions you have for me will be greatly appreciated!

I'm not sure why you would only owe the principal amount of the loan. With any loan - I'm sure there will be interest fees involved. However, you should check the legality of the companies and the amount of interest they are charging. This site should be able to give you a lot of helpful advise. I'm here looking for help myself!

your AG,or DFI website will have licensing info.if there is any.as i posted none of these are licensed anywhere.
