I live in Florida.

I have 5 loans my bank closed my account because I went over my my over draft protection limit and I didn't pay it due to these 5 PDL's. So the madness has stopped but I am being told I owe the following amounts plus I owe $1041.52 to the bank. I am hoping to recoup money from the PDL's to pay back my bank. I do not have a checking account now and use money orders and prepaid cards......I sleep better now...thank God.

Now to fix this mess. The first thing I need to know are these Legal or Not? Thank you so much for this forum...

Cash Net-$538.50
Gov Emp Credit Loan-$488.00
Loan Point-$520.00
FPD-$583.78
Integrity- $195.00

I have paid the principal plus interest on all these loans have been paying on them for over a year....

Thank you for any help/information

Payday loans are legal in the state of FL as long as they are licensed by the state. You would need to check the state licensee data base.

Also, there are some lenders who are CSO's (Credit Service Organizations), they are only required to be registered with the secretary of state.
Loanpoint and Integrity are NOT legal lenders.

Gov Emp Credit Loan - isn't that a line of credit provided by a credit union? That would be legal.

Cash Netusa is a CSO and legal.

FPD ?????
