They appear to be some type of debt collector but are using a scam where someone calls first, warning that they are about to send a deputy to your house to serve you with papers for pending litigation and you only have three hours before the "process server" and deputy show up so you need to call this number to see what's going on!

They are fool of it i called our local harris county office and they said they have nothing in the system for me. They are rude and will not stop calling my work saying a sheriff is coming out to my job.

This number belongs to Delta Financial. A man named Dave Gillespie (supposed owner) has called me today and said that my employment had been verified and they were spending $125 to file in my Parish (Louisiana) to obtain a judgment to garnish my wages. He said "we buy old debt and sue, sue, sue. I like ripping money from people's paychecks. Make me an offer or get a visit from the sheriff in a couple of days." SOL on the old debt is in 2 days. HELP?
Also refused to give me any information on where this company is
Also refused to give me any information on where this company is based from. I have heard absolutely nothing from these people until today. Gillespie's reply was "I don't have to send you a damn thing."
I think they are just trying to scare you to make you pay them.
I think they are just trying to scare you to make you pay them. The next time they call you, tell them that you don't require to give a damn to them. File a complaint against them with your local police for the threat and your states' Attorney General.
