Hello, I received a call today from a company called cash loans stating that I owed $502 dollars for a payday loan. I tried to ask the young man what company did I get the loan from, the date of the loan, the amount of the loan before the interest charges. But he failed to give me that information. Secondly I tried explaining to him that I have three payday loans that I am in good standing with, I also informed him that bank said that there is no indication that anyone has been trying to debit that amount from my account. He continued to yell at me and inform me that I will be locked up and thrown behind bars and that legal officers will be going to my job tomorrow. I tried my best to talk to him but he kept hanging up on me and saying I was a sorry person who would be sent to jail tomorrow. I am very scared because I have two young children ages two and four and I don???t want to be arrested in front of them and for a loan that I never received. All together I have had five payday loans, two are paid off and the other three I am still making payments on. Could someone please email me back?

I live in North Carolina

You can't go to jail for owing a debt!
Please list the following information so we can help you.
-Names of each pdl company.
-Whether they are store front or Internet.
-How much you borrowed.
-How much you paid so far.
-The state in which you reside.

By the way, payday loans are prohibited in your state! CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.
