I am trying to make arrangements with both of these companies, I got sick and missed a week of work so will have a hard time paying them back. I have already paid them the principal amount and then some but they won't let me speak to anyone in Collections until the acct actually goes into collections. I want them to just consider the loans Paid in full and no one will let me talk to collections. Any ideas what I can do?

I'm sorry, I didn't know what information you needed. I am in AZ, I borrowed $400 from United Cash Loans and have paid $805.00 to date. I borrowed $350.00 from Ameriloan and have paid back $420.00 to date. Again, I called both of them yesterday and tried to ask for a hardship deal with them so we wouldn't have to have any hard feelings and neither of the companies would allow me to speak with a collections person or to a manager to discuss my dilemma. Thank you for your assistance.

Hi,

As per the PDL law applicable in your state from July 1st, 2010, all PDL activities are prohibited in your state. Moreover, as Shazzers said, both these companies are illegally running their business in the US. Go to this link and find out how to deal with these illegal lenders: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/illegal-pdl-dealings.html

You can check the following link to know more about the PDL law of your state: http://www.paydayloaninfo.org/stateinfo/AZ.asp.

Wait and also check what Shazzers advise you on this matter. I'ld also be here to check out.
