Please, anyone reading this thread, work with the information that the moderators provide, it's invaluable! It takes time, and some energy, but you can crawl out of the vicious circle of these PDL'S!
Special thanks to Shazzers, I couldn't have done it without all your time and effort. Just a couple more to go, and I should finally be free!

No, I did not call them first. I just faxed a cease and desist letter, and emailed the cease and desist letter also. I closed my bank account 5 days before the PDL's were to debit my account, faxed them 3 days before the due date, then emailed them 2 days before the due date. With every form letter they emailed me...I continued to send the cease and desist letter.
After reading a ton of threads on this forum, I pretty much figured calling them was not going to be productive, and would end up with my being frustrated.
Just keep hammering back at them, and I repeat to them...your company is doing business illegally in my state....the ones in Delaware especially love to reply with " our counsul says we are legal". I reply with the name and contact information for my state's dept of banking and finance....and inform them that THEY are being counseled incorrectly. That seems to really get their attention. Use "buzz words" like FTC, Attorney General, Dept of Banking and Finance, and BBB. I am sure they do not want the attention.
Hope this helps!
