Ok. So I have a loan with United Cash Loans. I borrowed 350 and have paid back 420. I have a loan from Ameriloan and borrowed 300 and have paid back 315. So, are they illegal in the sate of FL? I have already called my bank and my account is being closed tomorrow. Should I send out those letters once my account is closed? What should my next step be? I am just terrified that they will try to arrest me or sue me. If anyone can give me any advice, I would welcome it! Thanks!

They can't "garnish" wages BUT, they can impose a wage assignment and usually do. So, the original poster needs to send (email) a wage revocation letter, print it out and take it to their employer.

Most Internet payday lenders place a clause in their loan contract which states; if the borrower defaults on the loan the borrower gives permission to the lender to deduct the loan amount from their wages, however, as I said before, a wage assignment is voluntary and can be revoked at any time, just follow the instructions above and you will be fine.

So, how soon do you feel I should send this letter in? My checking account was closed today and one of the loans gave me an extension and is supposed to withdraw on Mon. while the other is supposed to on my next payday. Is it something they can do fairly quickly? Also, is there an actual e-mail I should send it to or do I just go to their website and post the letter under the contact us part?

Also, one of the loans I borrowed was for $350. The contract I signed was for $455. They did an automatic extension for 4 months and even though I have paid $420, I still owe $455. The other is the same way. I borrowed $300, owed $405, have paid $315, and they still say I owe $405. So, even though I signed the contracts online that said they were going to impose the extension fees, I can still legally stop this? I'm like seriously losing sleep over all of this. I mean, I have paid more than what I owe on both.

So, when I tried to log into my UnitedCashLoans account it said this: We are sorry that we are unable to access your account at this time. If you need assistance, please contact us at compliancedepartment@unitedcashloans.com
And Ameriloan says the same thing: We are sorry that we are unable to access your account at this time. If you need assistance, please contact us at compliancedepartment@ameriloan.com
Neither one have responded to my e-mail or called me so what do I do now?
