What state do you live in? I too took out a loan w them. I live in CA. I more than paid them then closed my account. Never heard from them. Come to find out- they claim i only payed interest on it. Got a call 6 months later from debt collector threatening w nsf criminal suit. Debt got sold now this scum wants my $. Turns out Cash Jar is an illegal PD internet lender in my state. Yes, this scum threaten me w criminal charges for nsf- that was late july 10. Haven't been served or called after their two attempts to collect. Don't expect too, since they won't risk showing their face in court. I know Cash jar didnt called me, i was contacted by a bottomfeeder collector. She lied and said she was from a law firm. Bottom line is- 1)find out your state consumer laws regarding internet pdloans 2) find out if cash jar is licenced in your state, if not, then look n that same website for their Enforcement site, and look for a Desist and resist Court order for cash Jar, if you find it.. THAT is your weapon of defense. Doubt that they are licensed in any state so plz look and do your homework on this. Not telling you to close your account, not telling you not to cloe your account. But if you don't..know that they will not work w you. BTW..i believe that if you close your account and if any ach hits it within two wks the account will automatically open and you will be force to pay and have nsf fees from your bank. I closed it the next day after the last time i wanted it to be "hit' w this payday loan- therefore a month had past and yes they did attempt to take $ out but werent able to. Every bank is different. Talk to your bank. But first do your hw on this. Hope this helps.

What state are you in? Interest and fees varies from state to state, so does licensing requirements.
