Sent my employer a wage garnishment letter, which my employer honored.
I had received a letter from Lakota Cash saying they would consider my account paid in full. I paid them $460 on a $300.00 loan.
They are rotten ~ if you're dealing with them, make sure to send your employer a wage assignment revocation.

Unfortunately, the first person I went through at my employer seems to think I'm in the wrong. They are taking it to the corporate lawyer. I offered to give them copies of everything I sent, but they haven't even responded. Not sure if I'm going to get this money back.
I can't believe that they fell for it ~ a fax on some letterhead stating I owed money, no copy of the contract, just their terms and conditions, no written signature, absolutely nothing legally supporting this ~ and they just sent them a check for $250.00.
