I live in Florida and have an internet payday loan with Pay Day Loans of America. The original loan amount was for $650 and I have paid over $2,700 in pmts and interest fees. I do not know if they are registered in FL, but they do allow roll-overs, which I have found out is illegal in FL. Since I have paid over 3 times the amount of the original debt, do I have the right to demand that they consider me paid in full? Do I have the right to demand a refund?

Payday loans of America is illegal in your state. Their website shows that they are situated in Delaware and their address is:

Phone: 1-866-865-5511
Fax: 866-379-9157

You should close your bank account immediately. And yes, you can ask for a refund from them. Click on the following link to know how to deal with these illegal lenders: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/illegal-pdl-dealings.html

Thanks for the info. Paul. I did send them a letter revoking all ACH transactions and told them to send me a refund. I figure they overcharged me about $2000. Within a couple of hours I received a reply telling me they will waive my balance and consider my account "paid in full". I am going to reply back and tell them I want my refund too. I'll let you know how it goes.
