Help LIES??

My husband is a 100% Disabled Vet and took out 3 payday loans, in the long run the companies kept over drawing out account until he bank itself closed it.Have tired going directly to loan account one being Fast cash and no one answers anything. Get at least a dozen calls a day i answer they hang up i try to call numbers back get busy signal or told number is disconnected, voice mails range anywhere from us literally not being able to hear the person to all kinds of noise people wishing us good luck if we do NOT return there calls , have NEVER once got a written anything by mail.Today voice mail telling us preparing paper work to send subeona to our home to make a judgment against him, and if we don't contact them within 24 hours the very second we receive this message that his next months disability check will be less for it.. I am a bit confused how any of these places can do anything without sending us something in the mail First and instead just call and call and call then maybe don't call and start calling again. Can they take his disability check?? I want to pay them and cannot all at once,, if i do answer after there promises of lets settle this reasonably and for a lesser amount but only good for next 24 hours they are rude and yelling and i just hang up what happened to triing to help and the original lenders apparently have sent them off to these other companies
