I sent my letters last week to Ameriloan and OneClickCash, both of my accounts are locked and neither lender has contacted me, what is the typical course of action in this case?
Once they realized they can't get at your money, they'll contact
Once they realized they can't get at your money, they'll contact you. Is your account secure?

It's typical for them to lock you out - that means they received your correspondence. I would wait for them to contact YOU. When they do, make it clear they are not to contact you at work, if you are employed. If you've overpaid them, demand a refund. If you just paid them what you borrowed, let them know again that they are illegal and you are only paying back what you borrowed, and for them not to contact you again. If you haven't paid back anything toward what you borrowed, try to make payment arrangements with them. But do NOT give them any account information. Tell them you will pay them via money order and have them give you a mailing address. Send your payments RRR.
Eastside Lenders would not agree to accepting any money orders, nor give me a mailing address. They kept sending me e-mails. They got nothing from me.
So, wait it out and enjoy not having your paycheck going to these vulture.
Ameriloan locked me out as soon as they received my first letter
Ameriloan locked me out as soon as they received my first letter. At least it is progress!
